三原光寻于1964年出生于日本京都。他毕业于大阪学院的艺术设计专业。他的影片《风之国》（1992）在第八届亚洲Eokuoka电影节上荣获大奖，《盛夏维他命》（1993）荣获伊丹城市剧本奖。他不仅涉足电影届，同时还是电视片的导演和编剧。

　　Mitsuhiro Mihara

　　Mitsuhiro Mihara was born in Kyoto in 1964. He graduated from Art Planning Department of Osaka University of Arts where he started filming. He won the Grand Prix at the 8th Eokuoka Asia Festival for THE WIND KINGDOM(1992), and Itami City Script Competition Grand Prix for VITAMIN OF MIDSUMMER (1993). He does not only filming, but also directing and writing for TV dramas.
