国际民间艺术节团体介绍-库克群岛（中英对照）

　　库克群岛启明星舞蹈团

　　 素有“南太平洋果园”之称的库克群岛,坐落于波利尼西亚三角地带的正中心，民风淳朴，风景秀丽，是世界著名的旅游胜地。岛民不论男女，都喜欢在鬓角上插着鲜红的扶桑花。

　　 毛利人世居库克群岛，创造了独特而丰富的文化，其编织及雕刻享誉世界。传统音乐和舞蹈更是毛利文化不可或缺的一部分，独具特色的草裙舞以其古老的风韵、动听的乐曲、优美的舞姿和强烈的动感而闻名于世。

　　 奥拉马文化艺术团成立于1991年， “奥拉马”意为愿望，标志着毛利人对本民族文化的骄傲和对美好未来的期望。该团表演精湛，受邀至许多国家进行演出，还分别与两家库克群岛最大的宾馆签定了长期表演合约。

　　AKIRATA DANCE TROUPE OF THE COOK ISLANDS

　　Cook Islands, known as a “fruit garden of South Pacific”, is located in the very center of the Polynesian Triangle. With simple and honest people and gorgeous landscape, it attracts numerous tourists worldwide every year. Residents in this islands, men or women, like to wear Chinese hibiscus flower at temples.

　　The Maori are the native people of Cook Islands. Over the sweep of history, Maori have developed a unique and rich culture of their own. Their weaving and carving traditions are world famous. Traditional music and dance constitutes an indispensable part of Maori culture. In particular, Maori’s Haka dance is exceptionally appealing with ancient charms, melodious music, beautiful movements and strong passions.

　　The Orama Cultural Performing Arts Group was founded in 1991. The word “Orama” means “vision” which embodies the Maori’s pride and belief in their culture and hopes and expectations for their future. The group has toured many countries around the world and held 15-year-long performing contracts with the two biggest hotels in the Cook Islands.
