国际民间艺术节团体介绍-埃及（中英对照）

　　埃及拜尼斯维夫民间舞团

　　 来自埃及拜尼斯维夫市的民间舞团隶属于埃及文化部，成立于1995年，有45位演员。该艺术团具有埃及南方艺术特色，曾多次在埃及全国性艺术节活动中获奖，并多次代表埃及参加外国举办的国际艺术节。

　　 埃及舞蹈艺术随着漫长历史的演变,始终保持着古埃及舞蹈的传统。现代埃及舞蹈以女性的东方舞最为著名，因扭胯与牵扯腹、臂部动作为其主要特色而具有独特的风格韵味。东方舞因地区差别而大同小异，在埃及南部努比亚地区和西奈半岛的舞蹈,则没有扭胯的特征,节奏也更为明快。东方舞的伴奏,一般以阿拉伯盆鼓为主,加上唢呐、笛子、竖琴等乐器。现代埃及的男性舞蹈,主要是显示男子的粗犷、刚劲的性格,通常是比肩搭臂成一横排,随着音乐变换舞步,跺踏双足。

　　Baniswif Folkloric Troupe of Egypt

　　Founded in 1995, Baniswif Folkloric Troupe is a dancing company directly under the Cultural Ministry of Egypt. With 45 dancers, musicians and singers, the troupe is well known for its distinctive interpretation of folk dance traditions of south Egypt. It won many prizes at national arts festivals of Egypt and took part in international festivals held in a number of other countries.

　　Dance traditions of ancient Egypt has been preserved and continued over the sweep of history. In its modern development, Raks Sharki, literally meaning “dance of the Orient” and more widely known as “belly dance”, has evolved as the most famous genre of Egyptian dance. This unique dance form, usually performed by women, highlights movements of the pelvis along with the belly and the arms. It is generally presented in set formats, but slight differences arise when danced by people from different regions. For example, dancers in Nubia and the Sinai Peninsula do not move their pelvis and dance at faster tempos. Raks Sharki is primarily accompanied by tambourine along with flute, oboe and harp.

　　Male dance of modern Egypt is performed to show man’s masculinity and vigor. Dancers usually stand in a row, with one’s arms rested on another’s shoulders, and change steps and stamp their feet along with music beats.
