2010北京国际青戏节《黑幻公寓》导演介绍

　　萧薇（Gloria Xiao）

　　毕业于中国•中央戏剧学院（The Central Academy Of Drama） 戏剧导演系，博士学位；本科和硕士阶段学习电影导演及制作。表演作品《阿拉伯之夜》（Arabian Nights）、《漂流城》、《阴道独白》（The Vagina Monologues），导演作品《欢忧塔》，与瑞士艺术家在北京四合院合作演出《OVERSEAS》。她致力于拓展导演创作思维，并试图对电影与戏剧导演创作思维当中的特质性与共质性进行深入的比较分析。她关注当前的实验主义戏剧创作，并对女性题材的电影与戏剧创作较为关注，力求探讨女性的身份、生存、禁锢与自我认知；在她以往的创作中，作品主题往往涉及到个体内心深层的隐秘欲望与相互关系。她的目标是通过体验、探索和创造新想法，与更多的观众及表演者分享。

　　Gloria Xiao

　　Gloria Xiao studied film directing and making in her undergraduate and graduate years, and graduated from Drama Directing Department of the Central Academy of Drama with doctorate. She participated in the performance of plays including Arabian Nights, Drifting Castle, The Vagina Monologues, and directed The Legend of White Snake. Besides, she cooperated with artists from Switzerland and performed play OVERSEAS in Beijing quadrangle courtyard. While devoting herself to expansion of creativity, Gloria Xiao also attempts in-depth comparative analysis of speciality and commonness in the creative thinking by film directors and drama directors. She pays close attention to current experimentalism in drama composition and keeps a watchful eye on films and dramas of female subject, striving to probe into identity, survival, imprisonment and self-cognition of female. Her previous works often touch upon the hidden desires deep inside individual’s heart, and the correlations between them. Gloria aims to share with more and more audience and performers her new thinking.
