2010北京国际青戏节《城市的村庄》简介

　　剧情简介

　　来到城市，却是住在村子里，这寓意着外来打工者一直处在一种边缘的状态，而他们却又是这个社会、这个世界的基石、主体，生活远比戏剧荒诞。本剧以主人公大虎及妻子娟的打工生活为线索，打开一个横切面，将种种荒诞、虚伪挑破，追问什么才是我们的希望？

　　这个剧的素材来源于我们在北京、深圳、苏州、西安等地做的一个关于“打工者居住状况的调研”，工友说了很多自己生活让人哭笑不得的事，比如：工厂宿舍不给安电源插座，手机充电只能去一个统一的房间充；宿舍的老鼠和自己在床上两班倒，轮换着睡；200多人女工宿舍不让安窗帘；工厂平时伙食很差，不给加餐，而因为老板娘的母狗生了狗崽，却破天荒给工人加了餐；工地经常出工伤事故，不给加强安全防护措施，却请了风水先生来作法……这让人想到那句话，喜剧就是撕破那些虚伪的东西。于是就有了我们这个戏。

　　Introduction to the Plot:

　　Came to the city, but living in the villages in the suburbs, which symbolizes that the migrant workers are largely marginalized. In fact, migrant workers are the cornerstones and of this world, and they are playing are central role in the society. Life is more absurd than a drama. The main actors are Da Hu and his wife, Juan. Their life shows us a cross-section, which reveals the absurd, hypocritical coverage of real life. And it asks the question: what is our hope?

　　The stories of the show originated from A Survey on Migrant Workers Residential Status, which we conducted in 2009 in Beijing, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Xi'an. In the survey, fellow workers told us many stories, like: the factory didn’t provide workers with plugs in their dormitories but asked the workers to charge their mobile battery in a room with plugs; Rats and workers slept in the bed in turns, for there were so many rats; 200 woman workers share one big dormitory without curtains; meals are in poor quality, but a good meal was provided for the first time because the factory owner’s wife’s dog gave birth to 8 puppies; when there are work-related injuries, the construction site management did not consider how to improve security measures, but invite Feng Shui master to play tracks…….These remind us that comedy is to tear the hypocrisy. Here it is, our show.

　　打破戏剧在社会精英阶层的垄断，使民众拥有话语权。

　　我们在舞台上并不是在演戏，而是在讲诉中国当代打工群体的命运，在反思这个世界。

　　To break the monopoly of the elite in theatre, so that the public has a right to speak.

　　We are not acting on the stage, but to tell about the stories of the migrant workers in contemporary China, and to reflect about this world.

　　该剧目曾在第二届新工人文化艺术节上首演（2009年，中国•北京皮村），参演2010北京非非戏剧演出季，该剧目受到社会各界的好评，民众的戏剧，关注民众。

　　The premiere performance of this drama took place in the Second New Workers Festival (Beijing Picun Village of China, 2009). The drama also participated in the Beijing Feifei Theatre Season of 2010. The drama has been well received by the public. People’s theatre concerns for the people.

　　新工人艺术团成立于2002年5月1日，前身是打工青年艺术团，它是一支由打工者自己发起创办的、以文艺的方式为打工群体提供文化教育服务的社会公益性民间文化团体。成员主要是在京打工者，各自有一定文艺爱好，大家平时利用工作之余，排练各种与打工群体生活相关的原创文艺作品，如：歌曲、相声、戏剧、舞蹈等，前往工地、工厂、社区、学校等地为广大打工者进行义演，受到广大工友及社会各界人士的好评与关注。艺术团已出版4张原创歌曲专辑（《天下打工是一家》、《为劳动者歌唱》、《我们的世界，我们的梦想》），《放进我们的手掌》，排演两部原创戏剧（《我们的世界，我们的梦想》、《城市的村庄》），拍摄多部影像作品，成功举办两届新工人文化艺术节。新工人艺术团被文化部评为“全国服务农民服务基层文化工作先进集体”。

　　The New Workers Troupe was founded on May 1st 2002. It is initiated by a group of migrant workers themselves. It is a civil organization that serves for public interests through art. The Team members are migrant workers who have certain talents and who are willing to devote their spare time to other workers. The Troupe members have produced various forms of art: songs, talk shows, theatres, dances, etc. The Troupe has left its footprints in a wide range of places including: construction sites, factories, universities, various enterprises, and schools for migrant children and communities where migrant workers reside. It has published 4 CD albums: “Migrant Workers are one family”, “Sing for the Workers”, “Our World, Our Dreams”, “Into Our Hands”; it has two production of original dramas: “Our World, Our Dreams” and “Urban Villages”; it has shot several films, and it has organized two New Workers Festivals. It has gained a lot of attention and praise from migrant workers and the public in general. In December 2005, the Troupe was awarded the title of "The leading grassroots art group serving peasants and grassroots people" by the Ministry of Propaganda and the Ministry of Culture.
