　　2004年７月，中国移动通信集团公司（China Mobile）与上海文广新闻传媒集团（SMG）达成战略合作，在此基础上，上海东方龙移动信息有限公司成立了，该公司注册资金2000万，主营业务就是面向3G时代的无线流媒体业务。“手机看电视”在中国首次成为可能。

　　东方龙移动信息有限公司，为上海文广新闻传媒集团（SMG）下属子公司，主营为移动终端用户提供面向3G的流媒体业务，即各种视、音频的内容服务，同时兼容短信、彩信、WAP、KJAVA等移动数据增值服务。目前已在上海、北京两地成立办事机构，截至2005年4月，公司员工50多人，已成为华语地区移动增值业务的领先品牌，致力于创造移动娱乐与资讯服务的全新模式。
