贾樟柯

　　生于1970年，中国山西省汾阳人。1997年毕业于北京电影学院文学系，从1995年起开始电影编导工作。1998年以处女作《小武》亮相世界影坛，引起国际轰动。法国《电影手册》 评论他的影片“摆脱了中国电影的常规，标志着中国电影的复兴与活力”。德电影评论家乌利希·格雷格尔称他为“亚洲电影闪电般耀眼的希望之光”。他的每一部影片都获得了国际上大量的荣誉。贾樟柯还参与了大量的国际文化活动，成为当今亚洲最为活跃的电影导演之一。

　　2004年获法兰西共和国文学艺术骑士勋章奖。

　　Born in 1970, Fen Yang, Shanxi Province, China. Jia Zhangke graduated from screenwriting and cinema studies Department of Beijing Film Academy. Since 1995, he began his career as a film writer, director and editor. "Cahiers du Cinema", the leading French movie magazine, said "Xiao Wu" showed the revival and vigour of Chinese films. It won two awards at the 48th Berlin International Film Festival and other awards in France, Canada, Italy and South Korea. Jia Zhangke involves in plenty of international cultural events, becoming one of the most active Asian film directors. He was awarded a Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et de Lettres from French government in 2004.
