Dr. Jiang Yan / Profile:
Dr. Jiang Yan, the deputy director of Europe Bureau of Xinhua News Agency of China, is a famous science reporter, anchor and writer in China, Ph.D. on Science and Technology History.
He was the director of International Science and Technology News Section of Xinhua. He has acted as deputy secretary general of Chinese Society for Science and Technology Journalism (CSSTJ), secretary general of Beijing Association of Science and Technology Journalists for ten years.
He used to work in London as a science and culture reporter.
He is one of founding members of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) which was set up in 2002.

姜岩简介
姜岩，山东人，中国科技大学理学博士，现任新华社欧洲总分社副社长，高级编辑。兼任中国科技新闻学会副秘书长、北京科技记者协会常务副理事长兼秘书长、国际科学作家协会会员、世界科技记者联盟奠基人之一、中国国际科技合作协会理事、北京市青联荣誉委员。曾任新华社伦敦分社科技、教育和文化记者、挂职任中共云南澄江县委副书记。
姜岩是2002年成立的世界科技记者联盟的创始人之一和关于加强科技传播工作的《巴西宣言》的主要起草人之一。他被选为2004年10月在加拿大举行的第四届世界科技记者大会12个高级顾问之一，也被选为2004年、2006年、2008年在北京召开的由周光召担任主席的第四、五、六届亚太地区媒体与科技和社会发展研讨会大会秘书长。
