今天，第6届视觉效果协会奖提名名单公布了，《加勒比海盗3》获得7项提名，《我是传奇》、《变形金刚》、《哈利波特与凤凰社》也各自获得较多提名。而《贝奥武甫》、《美食总动员》、《冲浪企鹅》这些动画片也普遍受到关注，而且还单独为它们新设立了“最佳动画片视觉效果”。以下是电影部分提名名单：
